The annual Festa ta’ Ġenerożità in aid of Dar tal-Providenza has come to a close, with this year’s edition collecting a total of €1,556,453.
The telethon, which began on Thursday morning and was broadcast across all major local stations, once again drew nationwide participation as donations poured in from individuals, families, organisations and businesses.
This year’s total reflects the continued generosity of the Maltese population and reinforces the long-standing bond between the community and one of the country’s most valued social institutions.
