Anti - aging drug pill for dogs to be introduced in 2026

The first-of-its-kind pill for canines called LOY-002 is currently in development by the Biotech Company Loyal, designed to slow down aging in senior dogs by aiming to mitigate metabolic decline and hormones linked to the shorter lifespans in larger breeds. At the moment, LOY-002 is being tested at a clinical trial called the STAY study that involves more than 1,000 dogs across 50 American clinics. Loyal is aiming to launch the pill by next year, subject to approval from the FDA.
