Marsaxlokk makes it to forbes’s top 50 most beautiful villages

Malta’s signature fishing village has been listed 50th at Forbes magazine’s Top 50 Most Beautiful Villages in the World.

The editorial in their article highlighted the colourful luzzus in the village’s harbour, the seafood restaurants sizzling with garlicky aromas, as well as the bustling Sunday local market dominated by prickly pears, jars of honeyed gbejniet, and lacework.

They also mentioned the short walk that leads to St Peter’s Pool, where cliff jumpers and sunbathers plunge into the area and its turquoise waters.
