Since January 2023, Sandro Grech has been fighting an extremely rare and aggressive form of leukaemia. He has gone through every treatment available multiple rounds of chemotherapy and two bone marrow transplants from his brother but the disease has returned, and doctors have run out of standard options.
Sandro now has one final chance: a CD7 CAR-T clinical trial in Singapore, a cutting-edge therapy that could save his life. The cost is €500,000, and he must raise it privately.
Without this treatment, Sandro has only a few weeks left to live. His greatest wish is to see his two young daughters grow up.
