The fundraising campaign for Sandro Grech has officially reached its €500,000 target in just 36 hours, securing the funds needed for him to undergo the highly specialised CD7 CAR-T clinical trial available only in Singapore.
The Maltese public contributed more than €300,000 in under 48 hours, demonstrating an extraordinary wave of generosity and solidarity. A further €250,000 contribution from the Government provided the final push needed to reach the full amount required.
Additional support also came through a special episode of "Il-Kazin" hosted by Jon Mallia, which helped raise further awareness and funds.
In comments shared on social media, the Prime Minister thanked the Maltese public for their unity and compassion during Sandro’s appeal.
Sandro’s upcoming treatment now offers a renewed sense of hope for him and his family as he prepares for the next stage of his medical journey.
