The Association for Abandoned Animals (AAA), the NGO that rescues, rehabilitates, and shelters abandoned dogs until they find a permanent home, has issued an urgent appeal for support this Christmas season.
The sanctuary has published a detailed wish list for anyone wishing to help. Donations currently needed include:
- Monetary contributions
- All types of dog food: wet, dry, chewies, biscuits, bones and treats
- Cleaning supplies: metal buckets, brooms, squeezers, bleach, and dishwashing liquid
- Vouchers from any food supplier or pet shop
To make donating easier, the AAA is also offering a pick-up service, particularly for those located in Malta’s South and Central regions.
The organisation has expressed its gratitude to the public for their continued support, emphasising how vital community help is for the wellbeing of the dogs in their care.
